The Wedding Shop in Alderley Edge was opened by Maggie Chadwick in 1994 and is now run with her daughter Lucy, plus Karen, Charlotte, Clare and Sarah. All the girls know their bridal stuff and are very knowledgeable in all things wedding.

We like to think we are really friendly and welcoming and know and understand all our dresses so we can guide you through the fun, if not sometimes daunting, process of choosing your wedding dress.

The Wedding Shop now has earned a reputation as one of the best bridal shops in the Northwest. We look forward to helping you find your perfect dress!

There are no hard and fast rules on the build up to your big day as every bride has different ideas and we will try and be as flexible as possible to accommodate those ideas… In general this is what happens.

When you place your order and pay your deposit the dress will be ordered straight away.

Depending on timescales we will endeavour to have your dress delivered 10 to 12 weeks before your wedding, though occasionally external factors may adjust this slightly.
